Special 2 hour Talk with Eric Landon

You are cordially invited to join us for an exciting evening with renowned potter Eric Landon.  Eric will be giving two pottery demos where he will showcase his skills in making large vessels. Additionally, he will share his holistic approach to working with clay and give a talk about his journey from artist to designer to maker to educator.  This is a unique opportunity to see him at work up close and personal.

With over three decades of experience on the wheel, Landon's minimalist forms reflect his mastery of the craft. His work is characterized by its simplicity and elegance, with a focus on clean lines and understated shapes, which he attributes in part to his years of study at the Danish School of Design.  His quiet humble forms stand in stark contrast to his use of Social media though. He has gained a following of 1.2 million on Instagram by simply sharing his love of pottery and encouraging others to explore the art form. He has been featured by international media outlets such as The New York Times, Buzzfeed, and Huffington Post, but remains focused on sharing his passion with others.

Oslo Keramikkverksted is a 350 square meter studio located on Vulkan in Oslo with large panoramic windows facing Mathallen. The workshop consists of two floors, one for courses and workshops, and one floor for members. The studio has around 90 members and between 80-100 people participating in classes every month.
